Work Remotely.
Live in Spain.
Spain’s international telework framework is designed for qualifying professionals whose work can be carried out remotely while they establish residence in Spain.
Eligibility depends on the nature of the professional relationship, the applicant’s qualifications or experience, financial means and other applicable immigration requirements.
Employees may qualify where they have an established employment relationship with a company outside Spain and are authorised to perform their role remotely from Spain.
Independent professionals may qualify through established relationships with businesses outside Spain. Limited professional activity for Spanish companies may also be permitted within the applicable rules.
Applicants must demonstrate an appropriate professional background through qualifying higher education, professional training or sufficient relevant professional experience.
Eligible family members may accompany the principal applicant, allowing the residence strategy to be considered around the wider family’s circumstances.
